The Distinguished Scholarship Invitational (DSI) is one of the largest undergraduate scholarships awarded in Kansas. Each year through the DSI process we award incoming freshmen the Harry Gore Memorial Scholarship of $60,000. Last fall, 501 students competed for the Gore Scholarships, which was the largest competition in DSI history, and 324 - or 65 percent - are currently enrolled at Wichita State. This year, the competition will take place on Saturday, Nov. 18. Help choose the new Gore Scholars and sign up to be an observer for the competition by visiting http://wichita.edu/dsiobserver.
