* Wichita State will officially unveil its new state-of-the-art professional production space -- Shocker Studios -- at an open house from noon-5 p.m. today (Friday, Nov. 3) at 3805 E. Harry St.

* The WSU AAUP chapter will hold its fall sectional meeting from 3:30-5 p.m. today (Friday, Nov. 3) in 207 RSC. All faculty are invited to attend with your colleagues for an informal exchange about current issues regarding changes in policies and procedures at WSU. * The WSU volleyball team hosts UConn at 7 p.m. today (Friday, Nov. 3) and Temple at noon Sunday, Nov. 5, in Charles Koch Arena. Admission is free for Salute to Service night for all military and badge-wearing service men and women today (Friday, Nov. 3). * The WSU women's basketball team will host Southwest Baptist at 1 p.m. tomorrow (Saturday, Nov. 4) followed by the Wichita State men hosting Henderson State at 5 p.m. in Charles Koch Arena. For tickets, call 978-FANS (3267). Admission is free for students with a WSU ID.

* Join the WSU Alumni Association (WSUAA) for the first ICT Pizza Fest: Pizza, Planes and Beer, from noon-5 p.m. tomorrow (Saturday, Nov. 4) on the WATC campus. Put on by FestiveICT, WSUAA is an event partner for this community-wide, family-friendly Shocker of an event -- and a portion of festival proceeds is earmarked for the alumni association in its activities in support of higher education at WSU. * Join the WSU Libraries and Library Associates in celebrating the Wichita African American Business History Project. A reception will be held from 2:30-4:30 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 5, on the lower level of Ablah Library outside Special Collections. Remarks by WSU's Robert E. Weems, Jr. will begin at 3 p.m.

* Rizvana Bradley, assistant professor of Film and Media Studies and African American Studies at Yale University, will give a lecture at 6:15 p.m. Monday, Nov. 6, in the CAC Theater. A reception will precede the lecture at 5:30 p.m. at the Ulrich Museum. Admission is free.

* Come with your questions and get assistance completing an IP disclosure form for your ideas, technology, curriculum, research and more from 2-4 p.m. Tuesday, Nov, 7, in the Innovation Hub in 215 Devlin Hall. This is an open lab and no registration is required.

* Bill Faflick, KSHSAA (Kansas State High School Activities Association) executive director elect will present "Getting Back in the Game: Interscholastic Activity Opportunities for College Students" at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 7, in 100 Lindquist Hall. A social will precede the talk at 6 p.m. The presentation is sponsored by the Human Performance Studies Department.
