* Wichita State and Newman University will stage a men's basketball charity exhibition game at 7 p.m. today (Monday, Nov. 6) at Charles Koch Arena. Proceeds will be donated to the American Red Cross to benefit hurricane and other disaster relief efforts. Tickets are priced at $15 and $20 each. * The WSU Opera Theater and WSU Symphony Orchestra will perform "L 'Elisir d'Amore" at 7:30 p.m. Thursday and Saturday, Nov. 9 and 11, in Miller Concert Hall, Duerksen Fine Arts Center. * The Service-Learning Showcase is a unique opportunity for students who participate in service-learning through applied learning opportunities to showcase their experience through a research or reflective poster about the application of their course work to current community issues. The showcase, from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 30, in 142 RSC and the first floor, is an open forum for students to interact with faculty, staff, community partners and other students to engage in conversation about Wichita State's commitment to the public good.
