Share the burden is a 1.25 mile ruck event that involves military / veteran members of WSU's student population and any students, faculty or other individuals who wish to participate. The event will be from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 4, at the Heskett Center and cover 1.25 miles around Perimeter Road. The purpose is to raise awareness of veteran's issues and provide an opportunity to network with various veteran organizations and businesses who support the Veteran's Center here at WSU. Another goal is to educate and inform individuals who may be unaware of what services are available to current military, veterans or their families as well and show our support for them and the sacrifices that they have made for us and our country.
