Senior capstone students in the Department of Public Health Sciences (PHS) are supporting the recently implemented Tobacco-Free Campus Policy at WSU by providing tobacco Quit Kits to students seeking cessation services through WSU Student Health Services. Quit Kits contain tools to support efforts to stop using tobacco and are free for students beginning Monday, Nov. 6, in honor of College of Health Professions Week. Quit Kits are part of the Tobacco-Free Campus Ambassador program implemented by PHS students (pictured above). Students, faculty and staff members also may purchase over-the-counter nicotine replacement gum and lozenges through Student Health Services. To schedule a tobacco cessation appointment or to learn more about purchasing tobacco cessation products, contact WSU Student Health Services at 978-3620.
