Women in Public Administration's Celebration of Women in Public Service will honor Wichita City Council members Janet Miller and Lavonta Williams and Goddard Mayor Marcey Gregory from 5:30-7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 9, at Abode Venue, 1330 E Douglas Ave. Wine and hors d'oeuvres are included. The cost is $25 and registration is required by today (Monday, Nov. 6). This event is open to women and men working in public service (state, city, county, university and nonprofit employees).
