Wei to give talk in Mechanical Engineering Graduate Seminar Series

Wei Wei, assistant professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at WSU, will give a talk as part of the Mechanical Engineering Graduate Seminar Series from 11 a.m.-noon Monday, Nov. 13, in 208 Hubbard Hall. Wei's talk will be "Design and Synthesis of Highly Efficient Electrode Materials and Their Applications in Solar Cells." We are facing energy challenges, such as rapidly growing energy demand and depletion of conversional energy sources. To solve those issues, intensive effort has been made to explore renewable energy sources. Solar energy is the largest single available source of clean energy, and solar cells are the most efficient way to convert solar energy into electrical energy. This presentation will focus on the invention of novel electrode materials.
