Robert Preece from the Department of Space Science at the University of Alabama at Huntsville, will present a Physics Seminar at 2 p.m. today (Wednesday, Nov. 8) in 128 Jabara Hall. His talk is titled "An Ordinary Short Gamma-Ray Burst with Extraordinary Implications: Fermi-GBM Detection of GRB 170817A." Refreshments and discussion will follow the presentation.
Stephen Valentine from West Virginia University will give a chemistry talk at 3:30 p.m. in 224 McKinley Hall. His presentation is titled "Analytical applications of ion mobility spectrometry combined with gas-phase hydrogen deuterium exchange."
