Reminders, deadlines and events

* The National Association of Black Storytellers will feature Lynette Ford at 6 p.m. tomorrow (Thursday, Nov. 9) in 208 Hubbard Hall. Come hear, feel and see the authentic voice of black storytelling. For more information, contact the Office of Diversity and Inclusion at 978-3034.

* The Wichita State University Opera Theater and WSU Symphony Orchestra will perform "L' Elisir d'Amore" at 7:30 p.m. tomorrow (Thursday, Nov. 9) and Saturday, Nov. 11, in Miller Concert Hall, Duerksen Fine Arts Center. "L' Elisir d'Amore" combines romance and comedy with some of the most loved arias and ensembles in opera history. The performance is suitable for all ages. WSU students get in free with student ID.

* An information session about Wichita State's Transition to Teaching program will be held from 2-3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 11, at 156C Corbin Education Center.

This 15-hour graduate certificate program enables working professionals in higher education to increase their skills, knowledge and abilities to compete for professional positions of increasing responsibility and scope.
