Reminders Reminders

* Water service for Morrison Hall, Jardine Hall, McKinley Hall, Wiedemann Hall and the Duerksen Fine Arts Center will be shut down from 7 a.m.-1 p.m. today (Wednesday, Aug. 5) so improvements can be made. Restrooms will be closed, and water-cooled equipment will be inoperable within these buildings during that period.

* WSU's Counseling and Testing Center is offering a workshop to help high school students prepare for the ACT. It is from 8 a.m.-noon, Saturday, Aug. 8. http://www.wichita.edu/thisis/wsunews/news/?nid=738

* The research services faculty of University Libraries will offer training in the use of Citation search tools, with an emphasis on Web of Science, Google Scholar and more from 2-3 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 6, in 217 Ablah Library. The training is targeted to faculty seeking tenure and/or advancement. Reservations are not required; however, faculty may make reservations by calling Chris Feeney at 978-3591.

* The Kansas City Chiefs are offering WSU faculty and staff, family and friends and state employees an opportunity to attend a Chiefs game or full season at a discounted rate.
