The American Red Cross urges donors of all blood types to give now to help keep the blood supply stable during the holidays. Blood donations often decline from Thanksgiving to New Year's Day as people get busy with holiday activities. Set aside some time to give more life by giving blood at the upcoming blood drive from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday, Nov. 20, and Tuesday, Nov. 21, on the third floor, Shirley Beggs Ballroom, RSC.

Your donation can give a patient in need something to be extra thankful for this year. Walk-ins are always welcome, but appointments are preferred. To view available times and to schedule your donation appointment, go to http://www.redcrossblood.org/ and enter the sponsor code Wichita State, or call 1-800-Red-Cross to schedule your appointment. The Red Cross must collect nearly 14,000 blood donations every day for patients in need. Please help meet the need by giving blood.
