What concrete elements does dialogue alone convey to an audience? What does a play's dialogue -- or the absence of it -- tell an audience about who is speaking, why they speak and on what plane of reality that speaking materializes? How do we determine what makes for "good" dialogue; more importantly, how do we write or perform it?

O'Hearn teaches this workshop on dialogue analysis and writing, focusing on what elements of good dialogue move an audience toward understanding.
