* The National Institutes of Health (NIH) Center for Scientific Review provides helpful webinars on applying for NIH grant opportunities. Registration is required for this NIH On-Demand Webinar from noon-1:30 p.m. tomorrow (Wednesday, Nov. 15) in 405 Jardine Hall. Register online through MyTraining. * PeopleAdmin is the university's applicant tracking system for hiring benefits-eligible positions. The hands-on class tomorrow (Wednesday, Nov. 15) will prepare you for the development of position descriptions, filling positions and navigation of the PeopleAdmin system. * The American Red Cross urges donors of all blood types to give now to help keep the blood supply stable during the holidays. Set aside some time to give more life by giving blood at the upcoming blood drive from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday, Nov. 20, and Tuesday, Nov. 21, on the third floor, Shirley Beggs Ballroom, RSC. Walk-ins are always welcome, but appointments are preferred. * The Service-Learning Showcase is a unique opportunity for students who participate in service-learning through applied learning opportunities to showcase their experience through a research or reflective poster about the application of their course work to current community issues. The showcase, from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 30, in 142 RSC and the first floor, is an open forum for students to interact with faculty, staff, community partners and other students to engage in conversation about Wichita State's commitment to the public good.
