Reminders

* Self Service will be unavailable from 2-6 a.m. Friday, Aug. 7, for scheduled maintenance. Blackboard, myWSU and e-mail will be available during this time. Please e-mail helpdesk@wichita.edu if you have any questions.

* Take time to unwind with Art For Your Ears from 7-9 p.m. today (Thursday, Aug. 6) featuring the Monica Taylor Trio in the new outdoor plaza connecting the Ulrich Museum with the School of Art and Design. Admission is free. http://www.wichita.edu/j/?123

* University Libraries will offer training in the use of Citation search tools from 2-3 p.m. today (Thursday, Aug. 6) in 217 Ablah Library. The training is targeted to faculty seeking tenure and/or advancement.

* Help send Alithea Mime Theatre to the International Mime Art Festival 2009 in Warsaw, Poland. A benefit, featuring wine and hors d'oeuvres, will be held at the Eaton Steakhouse, 523 E. Douglas, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. today (Thursday, Aug. 6). The cost is $25 at the door.

* The WSU Foundation has launched a new Memorials and Tributes page. Giving to a memorial or sending a tribute gift is now a little easier by visiting the new "Memorial and Tribute Gifts" page on the WSU Foundation Web site, http://webs.wichita.edu/?u=foundation2&p=/index. Click on "Support WSU."
