Verne Harnish, founder of the world-renowned Entrepreneur's Organization and CEO of Gazelles, a global executive education and coaching company, will present a talk at 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 16, at Hughes Metropolitan Complex. His lecture is titled "Scaling Up: How Few Companies Make It and Why the Rest Don't." Admission is free. Copies of Harnish's most recent book will be given to the first 250 people in attendance.

The talk is presented by the Rotary Club of Wichita as part of its Oliver Elliott Lecture series that focuses on business and entrepreneurial activities. Keith Pickus, Rotary Club member and WSU Foundation vice president, said Harnish's visit is a good fit with community interests.
