Reminders, deadlines and events

* Come for some early holiday shopping at SAC's Arts & Crafts Fair from 8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. today (Wednesday, Nov. 15) on the RSC first floor.

* The Language and Linguistics Colloquium Series will feature an Undergraduate Student Panel on Constructed Languages at 3 p.m. today (Wednesday, Nov. 15) in 208 Hubbard Hall. This event is free.

* The University Bookstore will have a one-day-only $12 sweatpants sale tomorrow (Thursday, Nov. 16). Supplies are limited, so get there early! Limit two per customer. Sale is in store only.

* Verne Harnish, founder of the world-renowned Entrepreneur's Organization and CEO of Gazelles, a global executive education and coaching company, will present a talk at 7 p.m. tomorrow (Thursday, Nov. 16) at Hughes Metropolitan Complex. His lecture is titled "Scaling Up: How Few Companies Make It and Why the Rest Don't." Admission is free. Copies of Harnish's most recent book will be given to the first 250 people in attendance.

* A family band of brothers and a cousin bring a distinct sound to the ear of their fans. SAC presents A Capella Group Kazual at 8 p.m. tomorrow (Thursday, Nov. 16) in the CAC Theater. Kazual combines the sounds of R&B, hip hop and pop to give you what they call the Kazual experience. Admission is free with a WSU student ID.

* WSU Theatre will perform "A Hedda Gabler" at 7:30 p.m. today (Thursday, Nov. 16) to Saturday, Nov. 18, and 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 19, in Wilner Auditorium. Students receive one free ticket with a WSU ID.

* Homecoming 2018 Court nominations are open at http://www.shockeralumni.org/homecoming. Nominees must have senior status by January 2018, be a current undergraduate student and in good academic standing with the university. Nominations will close at 5 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 21.

* The Engaging Leaders Program offers students the unique opportunity to explore, discuss and analyze various professional fields directed by executive officials from different companies, corporations and industries throughout the Wichita area. * Grad students at the Ulrich, co-sponsored by the Graduate School and Ulrich Museum of Art, will be held from 3-4:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 1. Meet with grad students from across programs. Enjoy drinks and hors d'oeuvres at the Ulrich Museum.
