The Physics Seminar presents Fred Gassert, head of Kansas Astronomical Observers Society, at 2 p.m. today (Wednesday, Nov. 15) in 128 Jabara Hall. The talk will be "Out of the Darkness - Lake Afton Public Observatory." The presentation is the story of what it took to reopen the observatory and what has been accomplished since reopening. Refreshments and discussion will follow the presentation.
The fall Chemistry seminar will feature Scheherazade Sadegh-Nasseri from Johns Hopkins at 3:30 p.m. today (Wednesday, Nov. 15) in 224 McKinley Hall. The presentation is titled "How a minimalist system helps to unravel mysteries of biology."
