Admissions plans workshop for faculty and staff

As the Office of Undergraduate Admissions prepares for another busy recruitment season, faculty and staff are invited to an annual workshop regarding admission policies, practices and recruitment activities from 8-9:30 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 25, in Marcus Welcome Center. Topics include domestic, undergraduate admission requirements, residency, scholarships, admissions programs and orientation. The goal is to make sure we are all communicating the same accurate information to potential students.

In addition, this year we are partnering with the Office of International Education/Admissions, Graduate School and the Office of Financial Aid to offer additional breakout sessions. Attendees will hear from undergraduate domestic admissions from 8-8:40 a.m., and have an option to attend another session on any of international admissions (international undergraduates and Intensive English), Graduate School admissions (domestic and international graduate students), or Financial Aid. Breakout sessions will conclude by 9:30 a.m.

This is a tremendous opportunity to learn more about the recruitment and admission process.

Light refreshments will be served. RSVP to Debbie Neill at debbie.neill@wichita.edu or 978-5675 by Friday, Aug. 21.
