IEEE-Eta Kappa Nu honor society invites all EECS students, faculty and staff to vote for their favorite faculty to be the "Turkey for a Day," today (Friday, Nov. 17). For this event, students, faculty and staff are asked to donate on behalf of their favorite teacher. At the end of the event, the professor who has the max collection will wear a cool "Turkey Hat" during class on Monday, Nov. 20, or Tuesday, Nov. 21.
The jars are placed in the Jabara Hall second floor lounge. The funds donated will help to support the various activities conducted by the HKN chapter, including student tutoring, award ceremonies and community outreach events.
