Jane Rhoads, WSU director of undergraduate success programs and author of "Kansas Opera Houses: Actors & Community Events 1855-1925" will speak at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 12, at the Wichita Public Library, 223 S. Main, for the library’s Senior Wednesday program. Her presentation, "Entertainers of the Western Frontier," will focus on famous performers who visited Kansas in the time period covered by "Kansas Opera Houses."
