Reminders, deadlines and events

* Unity of Wichita invites WSU students who don't already have plans for Thanksgiving to a Thanksgiving dinner at 1 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 23, on the southeast corner of Oliver and 21st Street. The only requirement is to RSVP to 316-682-7511. There will be games, conversation and friendship starting at 11:30 a.m. Unity of Wichita is a spiritual center that embraces people of all ethnicities, races, sexual orientations and religious beliefs.

* GoCreate, A Koch Collaborative, is hiring two part-time student assistants. These positions require a 15-30/hr per week commitment and excellent communication and customer service skills. Apply through Handshake at https://wichitastate.joinhandshake.com/jobs/1122777.

* Interested in showcasing in the Wilson K. Cadman Art Gallery in spring 2018? Any student can apply to exhibit in the main gallery. Students, staff members, student groups, alumni or community member can apply to exhibit in the looking glass. Applications are due by 5 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 22, to Student Involvement in 216 RSC.

* The holidays are just around the corner, and GoCreate, A Koch Collaborative, is offering gift-making workshops for members and the public during November and December. Workshop projects include personalized wine glasses, cutting boards, ornaments, wooden writing pens and fire pit rings. See the full schedule at http://www.gocreate.com/events. * Join us for a night of fun and entertainment at the Improv Club's first show from 6:30-8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 28, in 142 RSC. Admission is free.

* Student Health thanks all students who came out for flu clinics and the #WSUFreeFlu campaign. Our supply went fast and flu shots are no longer available through Student Health. Visit flu.gov for more information on where you can still get flu vaccines.

* Welcomefest takes place during the first two weeks of classes each semester and features dozens of activities. The deadline to submit events for inclusion in all Welcomefest marketing is by 5 p.m. Friday, Dec. 1.
