* The Office of Undergraduate Admissions invites faculty and staff to an annual workshop regarding admission policies, practices and recruitment activities from 8-9:30 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 25, in Marcus Welcome Center. * A team of WSU librarians has created an information literacy tutorial of six modules that may help your students understand the research process. View the modules at http://library.wichita.edu/empower/. Quizzes have been written to accompany each module and are ready to upload into Blackboard. * The new standardized Unclassified Position Description form is available on the Human Resources Web site. For training on the new form, sign up on myWSU at http://mywsu.wichita.edu. Select the Help for Faculty/Staff tab. In the Training Opportunities channel, select Training/Workshop Registration and click Register. Training is offered Friday, Aug. 14, 21 and 28.
