Celebrate the end of the semester with the English Department! On Monday, Dec. 4, and Tuesday, Dec. 5, in 112 Lindquist Hall, the English Department's Speaker Series will host a two-day mini-conference featuring the literary research of our MA and MFA students. Each day highlights two panels of student work, from 4-5:15 p.m. and 5:30-6:45 p.m. Topics include Margaret Atwood's "The Handmaid's Tale" and its Hulu adaptation as well as the writings of James Baldwin, Herman Melville, Junot DiÂaz, Rosario Ferre and Amy Hempel. Feel free to stop by for one or two panels or attend all four. Come join the conversation.
