WSU volleyball to host NCAA first and second rounds

For the first time in school history, the Shocker volleyball team will host the first and second rounds of the NCAA Championships on Friday, Dec. 1, and Saturday, Dec. 2, in Charles Koch Arena. WSU is the No. 16 overall seed and is seeded for the first time in school history. The winner of the Wichita bracket will face the winner of the State College, Pennsylvania, bracket.

The Shockers are making their 11th NCAA Tournament appearance overall, and will face the Radford Highlanders at 8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 1. Kansas will face Missouri at 6 p.m. Friday. The winners of the two matches will face off at 7 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 2.

All-session advance tickets are $14 for adults and $10 for youth / seniors. At the door on Friday, if available, tickets will be $8 for adults, $6 youth / seniors, and $2 for college students. Go to http://www.wichita.edu/j/?6062 for more tournament information.
