* The WSU women's basketball team will host Missouri State at 7 p.m. today (Wednesday, Nov. 29) in Charles Koch Arena. For tickets, call 978-FANS (3267).
* The Service-Learning Showcase from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. tomorrow (Thursday, Nov. 30) in 142 RSC is a unique opportunity for students who participate in service-learning through applied learning opportunities to showcase their experience through a research or reflective poster about the application of their course work to current community issues.
* If you have student loans, join the Office of Financial Aid on from noon-1 p.m. or 6-7 p.m. tomorrow (Thursday, Nov. 30) in 319 RSC, for a free workshop designed to help you make the right choices when it comes to managing loan repayment.
* Grad students party at the Ulrich, co-sponsored by the Graduate School and Ulrich Museum of Art, will be held from 3-4:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 1, at the Ulrich.
* Welcomefest takes place during the first two weeks of classes each semester and features dozens of activities. The deadline to submit events for inclusion in all Welcomefest marketing is by 5 p.m. Friday, Dec. 1. * The campus post office is selling letters from Santa now until Friday, Dec. 15. Letters will be sent to Santa Claus, Indiana, for a pictorial postmark, and then forwarded to the address you put on the envelope. Go to http://www.wichita.edu/j/?6050 for samples of pictures and pictorial postmarks.
* Mark your calendar for Demo Day from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 5, in the Experiential Engineering Building, to hear exciting presentations from local entrepreneurs in celebrating the culmination of LaunchPrep. Food and drinks will be provided.
