* New and experienced Banner Schedule Builders and Department Chairs are invited to attend the upcoming Summer and Fall 2018 Schedule Building Training sessions presented by the University Registrar's Office and Applications Training on Tuesday, Dec. 5, and Wednesday, Dec. 6. Registration is required; sessions are posted on myWSU > myTraining. Contact Applications Training if you have questions at 978-5800 or training@wichita.edu. Current Schedule Builders are encouraged to attend one of the Banner 9 Schedule Building Overview Sessions posted in myTraining.
* Nominations for Excellence Awards in Research, Creativity and Community Research are being accepted by the Office of Research and Technology Transfer (RTT) through tomorrow (Friday, Dec. 1). See the RTT website for additional details and nomination forms. Nominations must be received by Dec. 1. Submit all nominations electronically to proposals@wichita.edu or deliver to campus box 7.
* The Office of Human Resources (HR) will be closed from 11:15 a.m.-2 p.m. tomorrow (Friday, Dec. 1) for a holiday event. Please plan visits to HR accordingly that day. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
* Grad students at the Ulrich, co-sponsored by the Graduate School and Ulrich Museum of Art, will be held from 3-4:30 p.m. tomorrow (Friday, Dec. 1) at the Ulrich. Meet with grad students from across programs and enjoy drinks and hours d'oeuvres at the Ulrich Museum. * Getting ready to retire? KPERS is offering quarterly KPERS and KP&F live pre-retirement webinars, with a Q&A session afterward. They'll cover the same information as their in-person spring seminars. These webinars run from Tuesday, Dec. 5, to Thursday, Dec. 7. Pre-registration is required. * Average computer users ages 18-35 are needed to help the Vision Perception Cognition Lab with an evaluation of different computer monitors. If you are interested, please take a few minutes to take the screening survey at https://tinyurl.com/vpcmonitorsurvey. If you qualify, you will be contacted by a representative of the Vision Perception Cognition Lab to schedule a time to participate.
