It's time for the 2nd annual Koch Innovation Challenge. We'd be honored if you could stop by and hear some two-minute elevator pitches between 9 a.m.-noon tomorrow (Friday, Dec. 1) in 107 Devlin Hall. The awards ceremony will follow at 12:30 p.m. and name the top five teams.

The competition is organized from the Introduction & Innovation freshman seminar general education course. It emphasizes teamwork and entrepreneurship across all fields and disciplines at WSU. This year we have 28 multidisciplinary teams, including students from all colleges across campus.

Sample big idea team project topics:
- Noise-canceling glasses that improve learning for children with sensory challenges
- Reducing food waste with a collaboration between WSU Dining Services and the Physical Plant Greenhouse
- Creating customized wheelchair accessories to improve independence
- And more!
