Dance students interpret Ulrich exhibition

The WSU Dance Choreography 1 class visited the Ulrich Museum earlier this semester to begin designing choreography in response to the exhibition looking at the overlooked. The students will present their choreography in a live on-site performance at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 6, in the Polk / Wilson gallery on the second floor of the Ulrich. These cross-disciplinary experimental dance events are an effort to interpret contemporary visual art through contemporary dance, and an opportunity to investigate and respond to social statement with the abstract language of dance and movement. Admission is free.
