Reminders, deadlines and events

* WSU students can pick up free men's basketball tickets for a game against South Dakota State tomorrow (Tuesday, Dec. 5) in Charles Koch Arena. Tickets are available to students with a valid WSU ID at the Shocker Ticket Office, University Bookstore and Heskett Center.

* ACS will offer finals help from 4-5:30 p.m. tomorrow (Tuesday, Dec. 5) in 107 McKinley Hall.

* The Office of Disability Services (ODS) will extend its testing hours the week prior to finals and during finals week to allow students to spread their testing throughout the day and into the evening. ODS hours of operation will be:
7 a.m.-10 p.m. Monday, Dec. 4-Thursday, Dec. 7
9 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 9
7 a.m.-10 p.m. Monday, Dec. 11-Thursday, Dec. 14

* As the winter season approaches, Santa is getting ready to make his annual appearance. The sleigh bells are ringing and the elfs are singing, so come and smile big for the nice, jolly man from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. today (Monday, Dec. 4) first floor, RSC.

* Celebrate the end of the semester with the English Department today (Monday, Dec. 4) and Tuesday, Dec. 5, in 112 Lindquist Hall. The English Department's Speaker Series will host a two-day mini-conference featuring the literary research of our MA and MFA students. Each day highlights two panels of student work, from 4-5:15 p.m. and 5:30-6:45 p.m.

* Purchase a Final Frenzy massage special today (Monday, Dec. 4)-Friday, Dec. 8, from Campus Recreation in the Heskett Center. Massage prices are reduced for WSU students. Melt your stress away and book a 60-minute Swedish massage for only $35. Contact the guest services desk in the Heskett Center.

* Campus Recreation will have a Glow Zumba class from 8-9 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 6, in the Heskett Center as part of Finals Frenzy.

* Bring your dog to the Wiedemann Natatorium in the Heskett Center from 10 a.m.-noon Saturday, Dec. 16, for some fun in the pool. Dogs will enjoy splashing, swimming and fetching tennis balls. Owners are welcome to join their pets in the water. A $5 donation is suggested with proceeds going to benefit animals in need.

* The Office of Admissions is hiring student tour guides, also known as Shocker Navigators, to aid in the recruitment process of prospective students. Tours typically take place between 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Monday through Friday and some weekends, so availability during those timeframes is a desired trait. The application is available on Handshake now to Sunday, Dec. 31.
