The Department of Human Performance Studies will hold its 14th Annual Chili Cook-off and Student Appreciation Day on Thursday, Dec. 7, in the Heskett Center lobby. Everyone is welcome to enter the event by bringing a crock-pot of their chili and be eligible for the Best Student Chili, Best Faculty / Staff Chili, and People's Choice Awards. Those who just want to taste chili need only bring a canned food item (or $2) which will be donated to the Kansas Food Bank. Judging starts at 11 a.m., and general tasting begins at 11:30 a.m. Door prizes will also be available for students.
