Reminders, deadlines and events

* Average computer users ages 18-35 are needed to help the Vision Perception Cognition Lab with an evaluation of different computer monitors. If you are interested, please take a few minutes to take the screening survey at https://tinyurl.com/vpcmonitorsurvey. If you qualify, you will be contacted by a representative of the Vision Perception Cognition Lab to schedule a time to participate. * The Human Performance Lab is offering 50 percent off DEXA scans to all WSU faculty, staff and Innovation Campus employees Dec. 11-15. For $50 you will receive a dual energy X-ray absorptiometry (DEXA) scan, also known as a bone density scan. This painless procedure is easily performed and exposes the patient to minimal radiation. The DXA machine also analyzes body fat percent and lean muscle mass. To schedule an appointment, contact Bobby Berry, Human Performance Lab manager, at bobby.berry@wichita.edu.

* The holidays are just around the corner, and GoCreate, A Koch Collaborative, is offering gift-making workshops for members and the general public during December. * The campus post office is selling letters from Santa now until Friday, Dec. 15. Letters will be sent to Santa Claus, Indiana, for a pictorial postmark, and then forwarded to the address you put on the envelope. Go to http://www.wichita.edu/j/?6050 for samples of pictures and pictorial postmark.
