Reminders, deadlines, events and Shocker Blast

* Bring your dog to the Wiedemann Natatorium in the Heskett Center from 10 a.m.-noon tomorrow (Saturday, Dec. 16) for some fun in the pool. Dogs will enjoy splashing, swimming and fetching tennis balls. Owners are welcome to join their pets in the water. A $5 donation is suggested with proceeds going to benefit animals in need.

* The men's basketball team will play Oklahoma at 3 p.m. tomorrow (Saturday, Dec. 16) in Intrust Bank Arena.

* WSU will hold its fall ceremony of the 120th commencement at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 17, in Charles Koch Arena. Wichita State's fall commencement ceremony in Charles Koch Arena will be available via webcast. To view the ceremony, go to http://www.wichita.edu/commencement and click on "Live Commencement Streaming." The site will go live at about 2:25 p.m. Dec. 17.

* The WSU Student Speech Language Hearing Association is holding a fundraiser with a book drive for the WSU Evelyn Hendren-Cassat Speech-Language-Hearing Clinic from 9 a.m.-9 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 16, at Barnes and Noble in Bradley Fair. All purchases provide donations to the organization.

* A dedicated KPERS 457 Deferred Compensation Plan representative will be on campus from 9 a.m.-noon Monday, Dec. 18. Are you on track for retirement readiness? * Final grading for fall 2017 courses is open. Faculty can access the Banner 9 grading form via the Teach / Advise tab in the myWSU portal. Grades for any fall course can be entered during this grading period. Grades are due by 10 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 19. Questions about grading can be directed to the Office of the Registrar at 978-3090.
