With the holiday season in full swing -- it's the time of year we remember the Holiday Card Scholarship Fund created by the late Dr. Nicholas Pronko over 50 years ago. The fund was established with the idea that if faculty and staff would contribute a portion of the money they spend on holiday cards for each other, it would be enough to fund a scholarship. With nearly 3,500 gifts and $81,000 contributed during the past 50-plus years, it's easy to see that Pronko's vision has become a tremendous success! During the 2017-18 academic year, five students are receiving scholarships totaling $4,580 from the endowed fund.
