Sabas receives Good Apple Award Sabas receives Good Apple Award

Miguel Sabas was recently honored by Wichita Public Schools Board of Education with the Good Apple Award. The award allows schools to recognize employees, volunteers and partners who provide exemplary service to the district and its students.

Sabas was nominated and selected by North High School officials for his efforts in working with low income and potential first-generation college students through Wichita State's TRIO Talent Search program. The Talent Search program is federally funded by the U.S. Department of Education. It is under the Office of Special Programs in the Division of Diversity and Community Engagement at WSU.
