Reminders, deadlines and events

* An open lab will be offered for those involved in editing / approving the academic sections of the upcoming catalog. This come-and-go training from 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 9, in 124 Jabara Hall, is a hands-on opportunity to have questions answered. A short introduction to the software will take place during the first 30 minutes of the session. Registration is not required. If you have questions, contact lisa.fleetwood@wichita.edu. A similar session will be held from 1:30-4:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 19, in 124 Jabara Hall.

* WSU Office of Special Programs announces the free College Access, Retention and Success (CARS Conference) for educators, university faculty, university and school administrators and community partners of all levels from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 13, on the second floor, RSC. The conference will present participants with TRIO, GEAR UP and Office of Disability Services with talks ranging from "Summer Melt," to "Serving Returning Adults and Veterans."
