Did you know you can attach a syllabus in Banner?

In the days before classes begin, students often contact professors asking for an early look at the syllabus. If you would like to attach your syllabus document to your class in Banner so enrolled and prospective students have easy access to it, it's easy to do. First, you will need to create a permanent URL for your syllabus document. That is easily done, but if you are unsure how, here is a quick tutorial -- http://www.wichita.edu/j/?6120. Once you have the URL, log in to MyWSU, go to the "Teach/Advise" tab and select the appropriate class from the "My Classes" list in the box on the far right. Then choose the link called "Maintain," in the right-hand column across from the word "Syllabus." You can then copy your syllabus URL into the form field called "Course URL" and that's it. Note: if you make any changes to the linked syllabus document, those changes will show up in the Banner version as well. You do not need to update the URL or re-do this process. Questions?
