Two books translated by the late Wichita State professor Anthony P. Gythiel were published in 2017. The books were "Christianity and the Roman Empire from Nero to Theodosius" and "Dogmatic Theology."

Gythiel was a history professor in the Fairmount College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. Even after he was no longer teaching, Gythiel continued to work on his other passion of translating theology works by world-renowned scholars. Gythiel was on the WSU faculty from 1971-2010, teaching medieval literature and history. He died May 15, 2014.
