We are experiencing a problem with course name changes for Spring 2018 classes in Blackboard when materials are imported from a previous version of the course. This is a known Blackboard issue that is scheduled to be fixed this spring.

In the meantime, please follow these instructions to ensure your course name is correct:

1. If you are using previous materials and haven't rolled them into your spring course yet, please use the course copy tool the rather than using the import / export tool in Blackboard. To access the course copy tool, go to control panel > packages and utilities > course copy. If you need additional instructions, go to http://www.wichita.edu/j/?6137

2. If you have already used the import / export tool in Blackboard, it is possible that the name of your spring course has changed to match the name of the original source course. Please check your course name and CRN to ensure they are correct for spring 2018. If you need to fix your course name, please follow these instructions at http://www.wichita.edu/j/?6138
