The National Science Foundation Established Program to Stimulate Competitive Research (NSF EPSCoR) has released a program solicitation for Research Infrastructure Improvement Program: Research Infrastructure Improvement Track-4: EPSCoR Research Fellows (RII Track-4) solicitation NSF 18-526. The grant provides opportunities for non-tenured investigators to further develop their individual research potential through extended collaborative visits to the nation's premier private, governmental or academic research centers to learn new techniques, develop new collaborations or advance existing partnerships, benefit from access to unique equipment and facilities, and / or shift their research toward potentially transformative new directions. Faculty and staff interested in applying must submit a Notice of Intent to proposals@wichita.edu by Friday, Jan. 19. PIs may be requested to submit mini-proposals for an internal competition with a quick turnaround to determine who will go forward with full proposals to NSF.
