WSU to close for MLK holiday

Classes will not be in session and most offices at Wichita State University will be closed Monday, Jan. 15, in observance of the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday. Spring semester classes will begin, and offices will reopen Tuesday, Jan. 16.

The Office of Diversity and Inclusion commemorates the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. through powerful programming and partnerships on campus and in the greater Wichita community. Our office will be participating in the parade at 9:30 a.m. tomorrow (Saturday, Jan. 13) at the Christian Faith Centre, 1130 S. Broadway. We encourage those participating in the parade to wear your Shocker gear. For more information about the upcoming Dr. King events, go to http://www.wichita.edu/mlk
