WSU to host blood drive Jan. 31 and Feb. 1

Wichita State donated 536 pints of blood and helped save up to 1,608 lives in 2017! The support of WSU students, faculty, staff and administration is key to the success of the blood program. The Red Cross is thankful for your partnership and for each donors selfless generosity.

The American Red Cross will be back on campus from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 31, and Thursday, Feb. 1, in the Heskett Center lobby. Severe winter weather impacts donations, so blood and platelet donations are urgently needed so patients can continue to receive lifesaving treatments. Go to http://www.redcrossblood.org and enter the sponsor code Wichita State to sign up, or call 1-800-RedCross to schedule you appointment. Presenting donors will receive a free T-shirt, while supplies last. Appointments are encouraged but walk-ins are always welcome.
