University voicemail system upgrade -- new voicemail PINs
The upgrade will preserve greetings that you've recorded for people to hear when they reach your voicemail and messages that people have left for you; but the upgrade changes all of the PINs used to access voicemail.
A unique, temporary PIN will be set on each mailbox and will require you to set your own PIN the first time you login. Later this week, emails listing temporary PINs will be sent to the department billing contact for every mailbox that has department information and to each individual for every mailbox with individual contact information. Please watch for an email from telecomservices@wichita.edu with "new voicemail PIN" in its subject.
WSU support will never ask you for your voicemail PIN. If you need assistance, we'll confirm your identity and then reset your PIN for you. If someone contacts you asking for your PIN, they're a scammer; please don't speak with them further.
