Reminders, deadlines and events

* The men's basketball team will host UCF at 8 p.m. tomorrow (Thursday, Jan. 25) and Tulsa at 5 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 28, in Charles Koch Arena. Check with the ticket office at the arena to see if any free WSU student tickets are still available.

* Get off the sidelines and fuel your competitive fire by participating in Canoe Battleship through Campus Recreation. The competition is open to all students and Campus Rec members. Sign up today at http://imleagues.com/wichita

* The Center for Entrepreneurship is looking for your big ideas in the next E-Launch! Register today and begin your launch sequence. The next launch is on Fridays from 1-4 p.m. Jan. 26-March 16. For more information, go to http://www.wichita.edu/elaunch

* WSU's Office of Student Money Management is preparing for its annual event, "Game of Life," from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 30, in 142 RSC. It's being adapted from the Reality U program that is put on by Communities in Schools and the board game, "Life."

* A mystery performance piece that has traveled the world lands in Wichita at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 31, in the CAC Theater. The Maze has bewildered audiences for the past decade with its innovative approach to entertainment. Led by magician Jim Munroe and magicians Stewart True and Brice Harney, the Maze pairs storytelling with stunning illusions to create a unique, memorable performance. Admission is free. The event is sponsored by the WSU Cru student organization.

* The American Red Cross will be on campus from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 31, and Thursday, Feb. 1, in the Heskett Center lobby. Go to http://www.redcrossblood.org and enter the sponsor code Wichita State to sign up, or call 1-800-RedCross to schedule your appointment. Presenting donors will receive a free T-shirt, while supplies last. Appointments are encouraged but walk-ins are always welcome.

* Save the date for a one-day-only special from the University Bookstore! Starting at noon Wednesday, Jan. 31, the bookstore will have two styles of crew sweatshirts for just $14, while supplies last. Limit three per customer, not valid with any other discounts. This special is in store only.
