* The Rocky Mountain Regional U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), in collaboration with partners located across the Rocky Mountain region, hosts quarterly interactive sessions with experts from the USPTO's Trademark Assistance Center (TAC), which is based at USPTO Headquarters in Alexandria, Virginia. Learn how to synthesize your research, use jargon persuasively and explain the significance of your findings to different audiences. This Graduate Studies event from noon-1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 31, in 142 RSC, will help you with overall presentation skills, as well as specific information to help you distill research projects (or other work) into a brief presentation or elevator talk.

* The DT Inspector is a new tool that will help you prepare your DT websites for the upcoming migration to a new web design and content management system. The workshop will consist of a primer on how to use the DT Inspector followed by an optional open lab where you can begin or complete your pre-migration page assessment with guidance from Media Resources Center and Strategic Communications web professionals. * A mystery performance piece that has traveled the world lands in Wichita at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 31, in the CAC Theater. The Maze has bewildered audiences for the past decade with its innovative approach to entertainment. Led by magician Jim Munroe and magicians Stewart True and Brice Harney, the Maze pairs storytelling with stunning illusions to create a unique, memorable performance. Admission is free.
