Engage ICT: Crime and Safety

KMUW's Engage ICT: Democracy on Tap is a monthly community conversation featuring a panel of local experts. January's topic is Crime and Safety, and it will be the first event in our social health series. You're invited to attend at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 30, at Roxy's Downtown, 412 1/2 E. Douglas. We'll discuss crime trends and how to make our community safer for everyone. Panelists include Andi Bannister, interim director of the WSU School of Criminal Justice, Adam Barlow-Thompson, founder of the nonprofit Neighboring Movement, Darryl Carrington, WSU community liaison, and Wichita Police Lt. Wendell Nicholson. Engage ICT events are free and open to all, and appetizers are provided. Learn more at EngageICT.org.
