Strategic Communications welcomes new director of relationship marketing

Strategic Communications is excited to welcome Matheson Herron as the new director of relationship marketing.

Herron will focus on improving communication to attract and retain students as part of the university Strategic Enrollment Management (SEM) strategy. He comes to WSU after 15 years at iHeartMedia Inc., where for the past four years he's worked as the national director of promotions for the iHeartRadio app in New York City.

Herron originates from San Diego, lives in Andover and is married (to a WSU alumna) with two small children. He brings 15-plus years of digital media marketing experience in the areas of creation, strategy, design and execution of an array of marketing campaigns for mobile and digital media, broadcast media and live music events.
