Connections outside of the classroom are critical to improving the student experience

We've all heard the excuses. "I don't have time!", and "There's nothing to do here." Have you asked your students what they have done to engage with our campus outside of class? By attending events, taking advantage of opportunities outside of the classroom and building leadership skills, students can transform their academic, personal and social experience. From earning a Leadership Certificate to becoming an elected leader in a student group to landing a summer internship, students should be encouraged to take advantage of opportunities outside of class.
