* Apply now to be part of the SGA Election Commission! The commission is one of the most vital parts of SGA, as it ensures to carry out a smooth and fair election. In order to serve as a commissioner, one cannot be affiliated with the executive, legislative or judicial branch of Student Government Association. * "Five Broken Cameras: A Film of Modern Palestine" will be shown at 7 p.m. today (Friday, Feb. 2) in 211 Hubbard Hall. Admission is free. The film is presented by the WSU Students for Justice in Palestine.

* The Engineering Council invites you for cosmic bowling, pizza, door prizes, pool and more from 5:30-7:30 p.m. today (Friday, Feb. 2) at Shocker Sports Grill and Lanes in the RSC.

* Join the Community Service Board (CSB) with Senior Saturdays at Larksfield Place from 9-11 a.m. tomorrow (Saturday, Feb. 3). Join us in hanging out, playing games and sharing conversation with senior citizens in your community. To volunteer for this event, register at http://bit.ly/2E7Au5E

* Need a place to watch the big game on Sunday, Feb. 4? Shocker Sports Grill & Lanes is the perfect place! Enjoy food and drink specials and catch the game on one of their many TVs.

* We hope you're getting excited for Wichita State Homecoming 2018, Shocker Space Jam! We have a week full of events to help foster a strong sense of community among Shocker Nation. Check out the friendly competitions, vote for your King and Queen and, of course, be a part of the Nearly Naked Run! All events are free for students to attend or participate. * Applications are being sought for Wichita State's 2018 Senior Honors 2018 awards. This is considered to be one of the most prestigious honors a student can receive at WSU. * The Office of First-Year Programs is seeking nominations for books to be considered for the WSU Reads program. WSU Reads is the university's common read program designed to spark conversation between students across majors on campus. This program strives to take educational concepts learned in the classroom and provide meaningful connections with out of the classroom programs and activities.
