Cooperative Education and Internship data

During academic year 2016-17, 1,016 WSU students worked in a co-op or internship position through the Career Development Center.

Below are the results of the students self-evaluations.
- 96 percent of students agreed that they were provided the opportunity to gain professionally relevant skills/knowledge.
- 93 percent of students feel better prepared to enter the job market.
- 91 percent of students made valuable contacts and expanded their professional network.
- 89 percent of students met the goals outlined in their internship learning plan.
- 88 percent of students felt academically prepared to perform the tasks of the internship.
