Provost / chief academic officer search beginning

A search committee has been formed and a job description has been posted for provost / chief academic officer. The search committee co-chairs are Werner Golling, vice president for finance and administration, and Betty Smith-Campbell, professor of Nursing and president-elect of the Faculty Senate.

Other members of the committee are: Marche Fleming-Randle, vice president for diversity and community relations; Aaron Austin, associate vice president for student affairs; Aleksander Sternfield-Dunn, associate director and associate professor for School of Music; Carolyn Shaw, professor of Political Science and president of the Faculty Senate; Clay Stoldt, associate dean and professor, School of Education; Dennis Livesay, dean of the Graduate School; Gery Markova, associate professor, Management; Suresh Keshavanarayana, associate professor, Aerospace Engineering; Susan Norton, director of Adult Learning; Peggy Ward, Barton School senior lecturer, Finance; Amy Barfield, associate director, Counseling & Testing Center and president of UP Senate; Randy Sessions, tech support consultant, WSU Police and president of USS Senate; Sheree Utash, president of WSU Tech; Tyler Gegen, graduate student; and Sydney Kalscheur, undergraduate student.
